Siemens HiPath Communication Platform

Unlike many of our competitors who offer several different makes of systems that often confuse the situation resulting in a decision made purely on price, Enhanced Telecommunications exclusively offers the Siemens HiPath range of systems.

HiPath caters for the complete range of users, from the small business to the large corporation requiring multi thousand extensions.  The flexibility of the systems is such that it can operate as a conventional TDM Telephone System, or a real-time IP switch (VoIP), or a combination of both.

The HiPath Range comprises of:

• HiPath 3000
  Available in three cabinet sizes, the HiPath 3000 caters for the small to medium size organisations requiring from 8 to 300 extensions.  Being a Real Time IP system, the HiPath 3000 creates a foundation for the gradual upgrade to a high-performance, secure and expandable communication infrastructure, which extends a range of vital advantages to small and medium-sized companies. It offers the best of both worlds, even in a mixed system environments, with innovative IP applications like real-time communication over IP networks and versatile mobility solutions, combined with the high fault tolerance and rich features typical for classic telephony systems. Due to the numerous connectivity options, HiPath 3000 can also be used as a fail-safe gateway for the HiPath 5000 Real Time IP system.
  
  
• HiPath 5000
  The HiPath 5000 is a Real Time IP System consisting of a central IP networking server that enables companies with between 10 and 1,000 users and up to 32 locations to enjoy reliable voice communication over high-quality terminal equipment coupled with exceptional ease-of-use. The software is shipped on CD-ROM and can be installed on any commercially available Windows 2000/2003 server. It supports a variety of functions, such as simple connection of branches and teleworkers and connection of applications that can be used network-wide. The high-quality voice and reliability of traditional telephony are still maintained.
  
  
• HiPath 4000
  HiPath 4000 is an innovative real time IP system for the medium to large size enterprises.  It combines the advantages of IP-based communication with the reliability and performance scope of circuit-switched communication systems.  The HiPath 4000 is available in two sizes, the 4300 for up to 2,000 user lines and 4500 for up to 12,000 user lines.  The system can however be expanded beyond these sizes by simply networking several HiPath 4000 platforms to allow for as many as 100,000 user lines. Although several systems have been networked, they will appear to you as a single system (“Single System View”), and also administered as such.
   optiPoint Family of Handsets

To complement the HiPath range of systems, Siemens offer the following Digital and IP Handsets:

• optiPoint 500
  The optiPoint 500 telephone is used for connection to digital extensions on the HiPath 3000 and 4000 systems. Adaptors fitted to the phones allow them to support additional lines or other ISDN, analogue and auxiliary devices.
  
  
• optiPoint 420
  The optiPoint 420 family is a new family of  IP telephones used for all VoIP applications on  the HiPath range of systems.  Adapters and modules allow for complete customization of the phone for your workplace requirements. The optiPoint 420 display module provides built-in applications such as an Electronic Notebook (ENB), WAP browser, LDAP directory access, and voice dial.
